Recall holds freeze outbound cash
A lot recall or quarantine can freeze units that were sellable. Stranded $ = hold days × daily demand $. Type units held, hold days, and daily demand $.
Pair: Lot recall hold on Stock. Expiry gate: lot expiry ship hold. Stability: stability hold.
What you type
Units held — units locked in recall / quarantine (WMS export).
Hold days — written days those units cannot ship (3PL / QA notice).
Daily demand $ — dollars you would ship per day from that lot once released (typed from the sales plan).
Multiply hold days × daily demand $. That is cash not moving while the lot is frozen. Pull the release forward or cut ads that assume cover — do not invent a recall chip.
What not to do
Do not invent hold days. Do not count quarantined units as sellable cover. Do not fold ASN inbound into recall without splitting. Do not pace Meta or affiliate as if the lot is free.
