SeamlessChex ACH batch die is not held-batch share

How to run thisPayments3 steps
CalculatorSeamlessChex settlement-reject share · Calculator lives in the articleOpen

Divide dead ACH batches by settlement batches on one SeamlessChex ACH export. That ratio is ACH-die %.

Pair: Settlement-reject share on Payments. Hold twin: held-batch share. Braintree twin: funding-desk kill.

What you type

Settlement rejects — SeamlessChex ACH settlement batches that rejected / died in the export.

Settlement batches — Settlement batches in that same SeamlessChex ACH export.

ACH-die % = settlement rejects ÷ settlement batches × 100. Fat ACH-die % usually means NACHA / risk rules or MID setup — chase that path; never invent an ACH-die chip.

What not to do

Skip inventing ACH-die %. Skip dumping a Braintree or Solidgate reject file into SeamlessChex fields. Skip folding held-batch share into die counts. Skip blending MIDs when one ACH seat owns the die pile.

Related: Payments, held-batch share, funding-desk kill, settlement-hold days.

Procedure

  1. Type settlement rejects and settlement batches.
  2. Read ACH-die %.
  3. Chase NACHA / risk rules when ACH-die % is material.

Failure modes

  • Inventing ACH-die %.
  • Dumping a Braintree or Solidgate reject file into SeamlessChex fields.
  • Folding held-batch share into die counts.

Worked example

None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.
