Hardness fail is not potency fail
Press hardness fails ÷ batches make fail %. Type both.
Pair: Hardness-fail rate on Stock. Assay: potency-fail rate. Hold: stability fail rate.
What you type
Hardness fails — Batches the press rejected on hardness in the Eagle Labs run.
Batches — Batches put through that same hardness check.
Fail % = hardness fails ÷ batches × 100. Fix force, dwell, or cure when fail % is fat. Do not invent a fail chip.
What not to do
Do not invent fail %. Do not fold assay fails into press rejects. Do not treat scrap yield as hardness fail. Do not blend SKUs when one press lot owns the hole.
Related: Stock, potency-fail rate, stability fail rate, yield loss rate.
