Timer steps can strand the funnel
A timer step can push shoppers out before pay. Type timer views, exits, and AOV $. Stranded $ = exits x AOV.
Pair: Funnel timer drop on Orchestration. Bump after: bump take vs decline. Mid-funnel: funnel step drop.
What you type
Timer views - sessions that hit the countdown / timer step.
Exits - sessions that leave on that step (typed from the funnel report).
AOV $ - average order dollars on the same funnel.
Exit % = (exits / views) x 100. Stranded $ = exits x AOV. Shorten or remove the timer when stranded $ is material - do not invent an exit chip.
What not to do
Do not invent an exit percent. Do not mix bump declines into timer exits. Do not treat timer views as paid checkouts. Do not fold soft declines into this step without splitting.
