Checkout bumps still decline
Checkout bumps are offers. Takes and declines split them. Take % = takes ÷ offers. Declines = offers − takes. Stranded $ = declines × bump AOV. Type bump offers, takes, and bump AOV $.
Pair: Bump take vs decline on Orchestration. Post-FE: upsell decline. Mid-funnel: funnel step drop.
What you type
Bump offers — checkout bump offers shown in the window.
Takes — accepted / purchased bumps on those offers.
Bump AOV $ — average bump dollars (not front-end AOV).
Declines = offers − takes. Take % = takes ÷ offers. Stranded $ = declines × bump AOV. Fix creative or price when stranded $ is material — do not invent a take chip.
What not to do
Do not invent a take percent. Do not mix post-purchase upsells into checkout bumps. Do not use front-end AOV as bump AOV. Do not treat takes as settled cash without refunds.
Related: Orchestration, upsell decline, funnel step drop, checkout field friction.
