Sample run cash is not full MOQ
A sample run PO is cheap. The full MOQ is the real wire. The gap is cash you still need before sellable volume. Type sample $, MOQ $, and weeks until that wire is due.
Pair: Sample vs MOQ cash on Stock. Units: MOQ vs cover. Lead burn: co-man lead vs launch cash.
What you type
Sample $ — cash on the sample / pilot PO (invoice, not a quote screenshot).
Full MOQ $ — cash to cut the full minimum order.
Weeks — weeks until that full MOQ must clear (your launch plan).
Cash delta = MOQ − sample. Weekly delta = cash delta ÷ weeks. Fund the delta or slip the launch — do not invent a slip %.
What not to do
Do not treat sample cash as full MOQ cover. Do not invent weeks. Do not mix unit cover math into the cash delta. Do not keep launch burn assuming sample units scale like MOQ.
