Spreedly vault hard kills are not Primer hard kills

How to run thisPayments3 steps
CalculatorSpreedly hard-decline share · Calculator lives in the articleOpen

Open one Spreedly vault decline book. Count terminal do-not-retry lines. Divide by every decline line in that book. The quotient × 100 is SP hard-decline %.

Pair: Hard-decline share on Payments. Workflow twin: Primer hard. Soft twin: Spreedly soft.

Vault fields

Terminal do-not-retry lines — Spreedly decline lines the vault flags as hard / do-not-retry in that book.

Every decline line — Soft plus terminal Spreedly decline lines in the same vault book.

SP hard-decline % = terminal do-not-retry lines ÷ every decline line × 100. High SP hard-decline % means that vault is burning cards that will not retry — move volume or fix the offer; leave blank chips alone.

Guardrails

Skip inventing SP hard-decline %. Skip parking soft-only lines in the terminal count. Skip dumping a Primer workflow decline file into Spreedly boxes. Skip merging vaults when one Spreedly merchant owns the hard mix.

Related: Payments, Primer hard, Spreedly soft, void fail.

Procedure

  1. Type hard declines and all declines.
  2. Read SP hard-decline %.
  3. Cut hard burns when SP hard-decline % is material.

Failure modes

  • Inventing SP hard-decline %.
  • Loading soft-only counts into the hard pile.
  • Folding Primer decline rows into Spreedly boxes.

Worked example

None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.

FAQ

Is this Primer hard-decline share?
Vault decline book vs orchestration workflow. [Hard-decline share](/manuals/primer-hard-decline-share) stays on Primer. Terminal / book totals never leave Spreedly here.
Is this Spreedly soft-decline share?
Terminal pile vs retryable pile. [Soft-decline share](/manuals/spreedly-soft-decline-share) stays on soft codes. This page only scores terminal lines over every Spreedly decline line.
What SP hard-decline % should I invent?
None. Source terminal do-not-retry lines and every decline line from the same Spreedly vault book.
