Signature changes the not-received fight
Signature-required and adult signature change what a not-received fight can prove. A porch / left-at scan can still win some cases — but it is not the same packet as a signed delivery. Dropping on the porch after the shopper paid for signature is how you lose the fee and the trust.
Pair: Signature vs porch — claim map on Chargebacks. Scan checklist: WISMO. Crush / loss: damaged / lost vs NR. RTS / refused: refused / RTS vs NR.
The fork
Signed / adult signed. Strongest consumer NR pack when the name and date match the ship-to. Still pull the scan — a CS email is not the signature.
Left-at / porch / release. Fight only if policy and the network accept that scan type for this code. Photo of the porch helps when you have it — we invent no “always win with porch photo” rule.
Signature purchased, porch drop. You missed the service. Refund or reship. Do not paste a left-at scan as if it were signed.
No delivered scan. Not this page — refund path on WISMO or carrier outcome pages.
What not to do
Do not invent a signature that the carrier never captured. Do not treat every porch drop as fraud. Do not invent a universal signature-fee or win-rate chip. Do not skip WISMO’s warehouse check. Do not mix RTS / refused into this map.

Procedure
- Name signed vs left-at / porch on the scan.
- If signature was purchased but missed — refund / reship.
- If no delivered scan — open wismo-tracking.
- If RTS / refused — open rts-refused-vs-nr.
Failure modes
- Labeling porch left-at as signed.
- Fighting after a paid signature was skipped.
- Inventing a signature fee or win-rate chip.
- Skipping the WISMO warehouse check.
Worked example
None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.
Glossary

- Signed or adult-signed delivery vs left-at / porch / release scans. Same not-received family — different proof strength. Missing a paid signature is a service miss.

FAQ
- Porch delivery scan — enough to fight not-received?
- Often yes if the network accepts left-at scans — but a signature-required miss is a different story. Name what the scan actually says.
- Shopper asked for signature and we dropped on porch — fight?
- Weak. You broke the service level. Refund or reship; do not invent a signature that never happened.
- Is this the WISMO page?
- No. [WISMO](/manuals/wismo-tracking) is the scan checklist. This page is signature vs porch / release when the code is not-received.
