Primer orchestration settle lag is not Solidgate batch clock

How to run thisPayments3 steps
CalculatorPrimer settlement-delay days · Calculator lives in the articleOpen

On one Primer orchestration export, take settle stamp − capture stamp. That span is orchestration lag. Keep settled txs in the cut so the clock stays honest.

Pair: Settlement-delay days on Payments. Solidgate twin: batch clock. Auth twin: auth-expire share.

What you type

Capture day — Capture stamp for the Primer settled txs in the export.

Settle day — Settle-path stamp for those same txs.

Settled txs — Primer transactions that settled in that export.

Orchestration lag = settle stamp − capture stamp. Fat orchestration lag usually means processor cutoff or route hold — chase that path; never invent an orchestration-lag chip.

What not to do

Skip inventing orchestration lag. Skip pasting a Solidgate or NMI day file into Primer fields. Skip folding auth expires into settle lag. Skip blending MIDs when one seat owns the waiting volume.

Related: Payments, batch clock, auth-expire share, void-fail share.

Procedure

  1. Type capture day, settle day, and settled txs.
  2. Read delay days.
  3. Chase processor cutoff when delay days are material.

Failure modes

  • Inventing delay days.
  • Pasting a Solidgate or NMI day file into Primer fields.
  • Treating auth expires as settle delay.

Worked example

None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.

FAQ

Is this Solidgate settlement-delay days?
Different stack book. [Settlement-delay days](/manuals/solidgate-settlement-delay-days) reads Solidgate batch indexes. Here you only measure Primer settle stamp minus capture stamp on settled txs.
Is this Primer auth-expire share?
Sibling Primer door. [Auth-expire share](/manuals/primer-auth-expire-share) is holds that timed out. This page is how long captured volume waits on the settle path.
What orchestration lag should I invent?
None. Pull capture stamp, settle stamp, and settled txs from the same Primer orchestration export.
