On-time ship miss is not backorder rate
Late ships ÷ orders make miss %. Type both.
Pair: On-time ship miss on Stock. Backorder: backorder rate. Slotting: slotting miss rate.
What you type
Late ships — Orders that shipped after the promised ship cut in the Fullstack window.
Orders — Outbound orders in that same window.
Miss % = late ships ÷ orders × 100. Fix pick / dock cadence when miss % is fat — do not invent a miss chip.
What not to do
Do not invent miss %. Do not mix backorders into late ships. Do not treat slotting misses as on-time ship miss. Do not average every SKU when one owns the hole.
