Marketplace CB rate has a written line
CB rate = CB $ ÷ sales $ × 100. Headroom = threshold % − rate. Negative means at risk. Type CB $, sales $, and threshold %.
Pair: CB rate vs threshold on Chargebacks. Reserve: CB reserve lag. Network: VAMP enumeration.
What you type
CB $ — chargeback dollars in the marketplace window (your report grain — stay consistent).
Sales $ — sales dollars in that same window (same grain as the threshold notice).
Threshold % — written marketplace / network threshold percent from the notice.
Rate = CB ÷ sales. Headroom = threshold − rate. Pause volume when headroom is gone — do not invent a headroom chip.
What not to do
Do not invent headroom. Do not mix alert credits into CB $ without a rule. Do not use a different sales grain than the notice. Do not ignore reserve holds when the rate looks fine.
