Braintree vault recycle wins on one merchant account

How to run thisPayments3 steps
CalculatorBraintree retry-success share · Calculator lives in the articleOpen

Open one Braintree vault recycle export. Count vault recycle wins. Divide by vault recycle tries. Multiply by 100 for BT retry-success %.

Calculator: Retry-success share on Payments. Gateway twin: Authorize.net retry-success. Soft twin: soft-decline.

Vault recycle export

Vault recycle wins — Braintree vault / stored-payment reattempts that approved in the export.

Vault recycle tries — Braintree vault / stored-payment reattempts fired on that same merchant-account export.

BT retry-success % = vault recycle wins ÷ vault recycle tries × 100. When BT retry-success % thins out, retune the vault schedule or BIN mix on that merchant account — do not invent a chip.

Hard stops

Leave BT retry-success % blank rather than invent. Keep Authorize.net second-pass CSVs out of Braintree vault boxes. Keep soft-decline piles out of the win count. Keep one Braintree merchant account per run when that account owns the thin vault recycle.

Related: Payments, Authorize.net retry-success, soft-decline, auth expire.

Procedure

  1. Type retries that succeed and retries attempted.
  2. Read BT retry-success %.
  3. Retune route rules when BT retry-success % is thin.

Failure modes

  • Inventing BT retry-success %.
  • Loading Authorize.net hops into Braintree boxes.
  • Treating soft-decline piles as recycle approvals.

Worked example

None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.

FAQ

Is this Authorize.net retry-success share?
Braintree vault recycle export vs Authorize.net second-pass book. [Retry-success share](/manuals/authorize-net-retry-success-share) stays on Authorize.net. Win / try totals never leave Braintree here.
Is this Braintree soft-decline share?
Vault recycle wins vs soft issuer codes. [Soft-decline share](/manuals/braintree-soft-decline-share) scores soft declines. Here you only score vault recycle wins over vault recycle tries.
What BT retry-success % should I invent?
None. Read vault recycle wins and vault recycle tries from the same Braintree merchant-account export.
