Voided labels still bill a fee
Voided labels can still take a fee. Waste $ = voids × fee per void. Type voids and fee $ / void.
Pair: Void label waste on Stock. Cartons: split package fee. Quote: quoted vs billed.
What you type
Voids — labels voided in the window (WMS / carrier export).
Fee $ / void — written void / unused-label fee $ you actually pay (invoice — typed).
Waste $ = voids × fee. Fix the print path when waste is material — do not invent a waste chip.
What not to do
Do not invent a waste percent. Do not mix reprint fees into void without splitting. Do not treat a free void window as zero when the invoice still bills. Do not fold insurance claims into void fees.
